I agree with everyone, black and chrome on pewter look real nice.
I agree with Scotty, 01pewter2001Z28 car is sweet, especially the berger panel mod.
I've added a pic of my favorite pewter SS. This car is my inspiration. Owner sold it awhile ago, I wish I wouldve bought it.

I'd love the wheels too, but that isn't going to happen. Can't wait to get the chrome ZR1s purchased, and I just may go with 11s in back... haven't fully decided yet. In my sig. I've got black on the rear pontiac filled in and black birds on the mirrors. Used to have black on the TransAm on the door but have since debadged. Black painted calipers too.
