Default pewter accent color pic request

I have a pewter TA and wanted an accent color. I was going to put a mirror stainless front bird with stainless trans am overlays and a stainless pontiac fill in with chrome ar rebels. Then I was looking around on the forum and saw a pewter camaro with black chrome rims. I thought that would look great with charcoal metallic overlays, or would the charcoal rims look better. I don't want alot of bling but a little wouldn't hurt.

I need pictures of chrome rims/overlays on a pewter trans am,
charcoal rims/overlays on pewter, and
black chrome rims on pewter.

Ask Scotty-Z for some pics of his Z28. It's probably the sweetest looking Pewter Camaro on the board.

The first three are mine, the last is another user on the boards. I have the stainless steel camaro inserts so i hope these help some.

I know it's not quite what you asked for, but I have a black/red theme on my pewter.

What a compliment! And thank you very much for it!

However, I think the spot for sweetest pewter Z is reserved for 01pewter2001Z28 (Sean). His car's appearance kicks mine up and down the street.

For pewter, I think that it's such an in-between color. Too much chrome as a secondary accent with it can make the car too light/bright and blingy. On the other hand, too much black can make it look just too dark and bland. Gunmetal/Charcoal metallic is also another great color for our pewter cars. I personally am going for a balance between the black and chrome, putting small accents of each on my car. It's really a color you have to balance out with your color themes. And remember to keep it simple; less is more in terms of keeping a clean and sharp appearance.

For example, in terms of balancing out some of the black and chrome on my car, here's my plan of what I'm doing in each color:
Black things on the car:
- Rear tail panel in gloss or satin black
- Some sort of black side emblems
- Black trim in headlights
- Black billet grille
- The sail panel and windows will have the entire top blacked out once I get tint.

Chrome/Polished stainless/clear things on the car:
- Mirror polished stainless rear "Camaro" fill-ins
- SLP Centermount exhaust with the face of the tip polished
- Chrome ZR1 wheels
- Diamond clear corners
- Inside of headlights is chrome-colored plastic

That's just an idea of how to balance some things out in each accent color.
Here's a couple current pics of my setup. As you can see, I don't have a whole lot of things from my plan done yet, but it's all coming together slowly:

And here's an entire thread of pewter Camaros:

Hey Scotty, I think you should keep the Black ZR1s and do the rest of the things you said. Put a stainless bowtie on the black billet grille to match the stainless "CAMARO" fill-ins on the gloss black filler panel on the rear and you'd be set.

TIM_WS6...hmmm... I'm real mad that I just deleted the side moldings, ordered a ws6 hood, clear corners, and asked specifically about ar rebels. Something is funny here.

Here is duplicolor rattle can Anthricite paint on my stock wheels. its just a tad darker then gunmetal but has a better matching warm tone to the paint imo. gunmetal is more bluish.

also painted my lid and old STB with the same paint.

for a bit of my time and some spray paint it works for me.

I've considered it, but the black on the ZR1s is just wearing on me. I like them sometimes, but I'm now growing very tired of them. Not that I don't think it looks good, but I'm just ready to go for more bling on the the wheels and I want to change the whole look of the car.

After scrolling around the appearance section for hours on end, I've decided to do the blackbird stripes, trans am overlay, rear pontiac fill-in, and front bird in reflective gunmetal. I fell in love with the stripes on WS6freaks? SOM car. For the rims I'm still undecided. Eventhough I do like the AR Rebels, I can't get them in black chrome which would match the reflective gunmetal nicely. I might just get black chrome zr1s. They are probably alot lighter then rebels anyway.

Does anyone know who black chrome plates rims, and who makes the reflective blackbird stripes on WS6Freaks? car?

About 2 1/2 inchs, I'm running G2 springs with Koni DA shocks. I just need to keep an eye out for large potholes. But with the K member and full UMI rodend suspension i do that any way.
Thanks for the compliment, makes me
