If you dont mind me asking, where did you get the carpet and all the panels from?? Did you just go around to different junk yards to find black fbody carpet?? Always hated the tan interior in my car and wanted to swap to ebony leather, just always thought it would cost way too much. I'm liking your car man, nice work so far.

I still have tan carpet
Insurance is due next month, so I put the INT on hold till then.
As far as the plastic peices, they have been painted with Krylon Fusion for plastic, gloss black. I love this paint. As long as you prep the panals good with with some sort of wipe, it lays on beautifull, and doesnt scracth off for ****... For the door panals softer vinal and 'leather' I used a duplicolor Vinal&Leather paint, worked great as well, used gloss black and Gloss white. As far as the rear hatch flap, I used the same paint, gloss black, and it turned out AWSOME. I could use that paint on my headliner as well, but its tatherd, so I need to find a new one in any color and paint that too. See ebony isn't as black as I wanted, I wanted the blackest int I could get, this is the only way. ContraStriker has had his INT fusioned for over a year now and it looks amazing to this day. Just prep well and the results are amazing. But leave your windows down for a few days if you put the panals in the same day you paint them, the smell is enough to kill off more than a few braincells.
The only things your really NEED to buy, is carpet and seats. If you delete your rear seats you could cut down the cost a lot. Replacement carpet is ~200 bucks, seats vary. I got my seats, front and rear, out of a SUPER low miles formy, for 275 bucks. I love them. I always hated leather seats, in ANY car, just hard and uncomforatable, and when you do the !ac mod, they are hotter than any female you've ever seen... I got the cloth and couldnt be more happy. Going through a curve hard, the seats dont allow you to slide around like the leather seats do, and the seats are also more comfy, more cushion. The ONLY thing leather has on Cloth, is cleaning. Cloth seats are a bitch if you spill anything on them, just like carpet, luckly there is no food or beverage in my car, any time. Some say leather looks better, and to a certan extent I can agree, but when I look at leather seats I just think about how much I don't care for leather, and it distracts me from its beauty..
