Finally cleaning modding the engine bay... Well, it's a start at least... I opted not to go for fuel rail covers or paint the intake a custom color because I really liked the prototype ZL1 car:
and it's engine bay's simplicity...
SO, when installing my LS6 intake on the 4th I sprayed it in a low gloss black (slightly darker with a little more shine than factory) and did the valve covers in a red with clear coat. I ditched all the emissions crap (EGR and air tubes) as well... screw the hippie state I live in. Also threw on a polished plate with LS1 engraved in black...
I still want to make the lid nicer and do the wire mod but it's getting there. Not the best pics but all I had time to snap today:

It still may eventually get fuel rail covers... Once the heads and cam are in (LONG time in the future) the lid will get sprayed black, then a hp rating sticker on the lid and then clear the whole thing.
