It looks like you painted the stock grille orange.. How does that look on there?

I normally don't like those strange off-the-wall colors, but I must say that is looking really really really good so far.

no chrome grille. do it and repaint your car...i would get either an SLP one, or a plain one and have the orange with silver stripes run all the way down the grill to the little lip under the grille. I think that would look cool. then then put an SS badge in the center of the grille..thats my idea, but whatever..

do you want to paint my car by any chance

Go with a black billet grille, but keep the stripes. Looking great!

i dont know what you should do about the grill, you have many options. i definately thing the stripes should continue though and that is an amazing color/paint job. good work

I have a question and I'm asking more to learn, so it's not a criticism. It looks as though you've disassembled much of the car and painted it in pieces rather than spraying as a whole. Have you experienced any problems in the paint matching up and looking the same shade(light/dark) between panels? Reason I ask is you are using what appears to be a metallic paint and metallics will lay down differently depending on many conditions including all the usual(humidity, air pressure, fluid settings, hand speed, etc) but also will lay differently if the pieces aren't sprayed in the orientation they will be in when installed on the car, ie. a hood should be sprayed in a horizontal postion rather than hanging vertically and a door should be sprayed vertically rather than lay horizontally. So I guess my question is have you reassembled enough to know if this is a factor with this color?

Thanks
Bryan
