i second the blue painters tape. ive seen lots of show cars at the track that use it, and then can peel it right off, and it looks immaculate.

You can pick up a spray on "burnout gaurd" from any advance auto or autozone, stuff works pretty well. Is everything on the car switched from the last one, or did this one have some work already done? I'm guessing I'll see you here in myrtle for beach week?

I use burnout guard as well. I wash it off when I'm done at the track.

If you wash it when you get home just soak it wit soap and water and scrub it off mine wasn't that hard to get off and i'll be back at the strip soon getting more on it so we'll see just a little elbo grease all it takes

use pastic wrap, the kind for food

its clear, just put some one the bumper behind the tire. after the track just remove. easiest sollution

Thanks again guys. I was thinking about using the painters tape but didn't want to get down the track have the speeds peel it off and have debris on the track. Again, I appreciate all the help.

Lemon scented Pledge. Spray it on before, and the rubber just washes off with a garden hose. Now make sure its Lemon scented though, I wouldn't want your cars rear smelling bad.LOL

Despite the jest, that's probably one of the better ideas, not that I condone drilling holes to mount the mudflaps permanently, you can use the big paper clip things (the black ones you find at staples or office max) to hold the mudflaps on while you're at the track, then before you leave take them off, and you have clean rear fenders
Keep the mudflaps (and the clips) in the back for your track sessions
