Default Importance of interior

You know I was looking at my interior and I realized how crappy it is... it's a very basic look I mean my old 96 grand am hit the same interior. Now I understand these cars aren't built for luxury but a good interior is important to me.... even when its sparkling clean it still looks bland. Does anyone have some good tips for improving the interior... and the cost of doing so. Anything from gauges to seats to floor to side panels... and where to get all the stuff as well would be nice. Thanks for help guys. Peace.

-White overlays for the gauges www.WS6store.com
-Billet ring vents for the air vents
http://www.billetspecialties.com/ite...id=113&pid=269
-carbon fiber or painted black interior pieces are decent on TAs (some like it, some dont)
-billet HVAC controls (not sure where to get them anymore)

If I had a TA, this is what I would do with the interior:

That pic came from this thread:

i think gauge overlays, def a pedal set (forget who, but one company makes a sweet set with WS6, SS engraved in them...different shift ****, dash kit, ebroidered headrests and floor mats...thats plenty of stuff to let you think over..not sure where to get them all, but do a search for it....

Yeah, you can dress up TA interiors much more than Camaro interiors I think.

I wish I could do a little more for mine.

That link you posted for the air vents, those are the right ones for the TA? Also is that a decal for the pontiac emblem on the horn?

ok dudes my interior isnt done but here are some ideas.
seats....

smoothed interior pieces

new shift boot and e-brake boot

I'm also getting a camaro gauge cluster and lighting it up with red leds just to give it a little different look. I dont like the font of the numbers with the pontiacs so that is another reason im doing it.

I completely forgot about DynoPro's stuff. I like them now as opposed to MacEwen.

Anyone have anymore pics of their gauges or HVAC stuff? I'm trying to compare the silver and white.

This is my opinion but first off, if you have the factory gray carpet, lose that. When I got my car the carpet was so filthy I needed to change it anyway so I went with black. You can also recover your seats in leather. There are a lot of option in colors, 2 tone, piping etc probably looking at about $5-900ish depending on what you want to do. You can also recover the door panels to match the seats. Guage overlays, I went with silver from procarparts for about $30. I chose silver for a more classy look. I also plan to do some chrome or aluminum accents and cover a few other things in leather.

i know i show these all the time but...one more time doesnt hurt
i did it myself...if you wanted to have it done...it may cost roughly $4-500 cuz its a LOT of sanding and prep as well as airbrushing and clear...i asked around before i decided to just do it for free lol
~you dont have to do it with the airbrushed graphics, i only did because it goes with the exterior of the car...i think that a subtle dark color done this way looks awesome as well...i wouldnt do any bright colors
~i DEFFINATLEY think this makes the car look more luxury-ish

the flash kinda makes everything look dull...but it all fits nicely

The grey on the 97-99 cars sucks ***. The solid black looks so much better, even for doing a two tone, the stupid grey can clash with certain colors. If I had a pile of money to spend on my car, I'd swap out the grey for a 2000+ black dash, carpet, door panels, etc.

As for working with what you've got, I'd say get some white face gauges and a white shift **** to match your exterior. Maybe some floor mats with Trans Am embroired in white.
