Lose the red loom, replace or repaint all the red caps, and maybe paint the FAST black or something. It should look pretty good then

Red loom/caps = gone. Just buy new caps from the dealership.
Take all the stickers off.
Paint the lid and FAST manifold in a color scheme that you like.. Grind the FAST logo off before you paint it.

Polish/chrome everything else in sight. ~Joshua

A couple other suggestions, paint the plastic surrounding the washer fluid reservoir and lose the orange bellows.

The red looms must go and de-sticker it as well. Those two items alone will make a huge difference.

I think you should get rid of the red caps, remove all the stickers including that G2 thing, and if its painted, paint it black, paint a little bit of the painted red stuff black, but keep the red looms. Do not paint the fast intake, I like the way that looks right now, and then last but not least, I think would set it off real nice is some black corvette fuel rail covers with red corvette lettering. Then you would be set. Maybe an optima battery. Good luck, looks pretty good overall.

I was going to say...

...either take Joshua's advice, or go to SS LS1's cardomain page and take some styling cues from his black SS. Either way will get you a badass looking engine bay.

I like my engine bay to look stock colors. The only color I like is maybe red plug wires. You want your engine to look mean because thats what it is, not "girly purty" or "cheap lookin" or like a "toy" If you wanna dress it up, put some elbow grease into it and polish some stuff, that looks good too.

I wouldnt paint the intake either, and yea ditch the stickers, they are weighing down your car a few grams, and they are not worth that :-)

loose the red wire looms.... do the wire mod... loose the red caps... maybe get a mobile one cap from the dealer for your oil fill... and deff some fuel rail covers...and change your orange bellows...then you will be set
