turtle wax

Ok, well I've never used the liquid high gloss turtle wax before. And I used it today, Put it on, let it glaze, whiped it off, but however, it still looks like i just put it on, it didn't really clear off to my paint, it just looks oily.. Should I keep trying to wipe it off or should I let it dry more, or what?

This is probably a really ignorant question, but I dunno what I should do using this stuff.

Wash it off and try rainx liquid wax and rainx quick wax. I've been using it for a coulpe of years now and it works great. I also use rainx car wash as well which is another great product.

I had that problem when I used another car wax and I would just re-wash it.

You didnt let it sit in the sun did you??? b/c your not suppose to apply wax in direct sunlight

This is my best guess too. It sounds like a case of streaking. Let the car's surface cool off, and take it away from sun exposure. Buff it out afterward.

Yeah I beleive it was the sunlight.. I live in alabama and not much rain during the summer so its always hot.... Will it be ok to wax it in my garage if I let it set for like 2 hours or something? Or is that still gonna be too hot?

Good to know.. I spent 4 damn hours trying to rub that stuff off.. It's nearly impossible... It did look good though...Sigh...I could've saved those 4 hours for something more productive like eating chips...Thanks for the info guys.
