Sunoco Camaro....
Correct. VFN make a hood, but we have had no luck with the other pieces

thats like saying if someone made ss hoods it would take away from the value of real ss cars.

(Of course it may be kind of tough getting into the drivers seat, ...)
your missing the point. making something that looks like a harrel car will never detract from the value. the guys that will buy a harrel car are buying it because of what it is NOT just what it looks like. just like if you want an ss you go buy an ss cuz its what you want. if someone wants a camaro and doesnt care about pedigree, but wants the look they wont spend the extra money, they'll just buy the look i.e. hoods, spoilers, widebody flares etc. you think if you take a 6cyl 68 camaro and slap ss badges and a hood on it lowers the value of a matching numbers ss car? if you believe that your smoking some good crack and should at least offer to share with the rest of us.

it happened with the repo 69 camaro shells, once imposters came floating around, 69 camaros became a dime a dozen. when something loses the cool got-to-have-it rareness, the originals lose value. it doesnt happen always, but i doubt whoever made the sunoco car would want cheap imposters running around. and we know how crappy the common peoples taste is. just look at the ricers

. Unfortunately, i dont have Dick Harrell/Sunoco super car money ($80,000) so I would definately take the cheaper road since Im mostly concerned with the appearance of the car (front bumper lip and wide body fenders.) Im sure whoever made the car doesnt want posers running around, but when your top dog with an awesome design, then that just leaves the door wide open for copycats, wannabes, and posers. Same with Lambhorgini kitcars
It all comes down to how bad you want the real thing or an cheap thrill.
