Removed ground effects and....
Removed ground effects and.... I wanted some opinions on removing the silicone type **** that they put on top of the ground effects where it met the body? It won't just peel right off, would goo gone work? Anyone who has done this before please chime in. Thanks. 
humm it definatly could but since its on the bottom i dont think it would be very noticable. i was gonna say brake cleaner lol but that would take the paint off. have you tried rubbing it off with your fingers?
Yes, I tried just rubbing it off but it didn't work. I thought about brake cleaner but figured it would eat the clear coat.

Here at peterbilt when removing stuff on the trucks we use 3m adhesive remover. It seems to work well with my experience with it. just test a small section to make sure there are no ill effects with your paint/clear and that adhesive remover.
