which functional hood?
which functional hood? ok, i wanna get a new hood, just not sure which one. i love the 4 inch cowl and the 3 inch ss hoods. with the cowl, is it hard to see out the window? anyone got pics or experience with it?
and anyone know where i can find cheap hoods? i know a buncha places that have em just not so cheap
but i narrowed it down to the big ss, the ultra z, and the cowl. i want sumthin at least functional and original at the same time. if i got the ss i would have a stinger on the scoop painted black, i think that looks sick

if you car is an SS i vote get the 3" SS hood... if its a Z then get the 4" cowl...
i think its just me but if its an SS it deserves to keep its look and if its not an SS it shouldnt be posed as one

thanks guys. yea i kinda agree on the comment that if its an ss keep it one and if its not dont try to pose it as one. and thanks z28 dad for that photo, just what i was looking for. the view isnt as bad as i imagined. those cowls are fairly cheap too

that was the saddest thing i had ever heard...unless the car started life as an SS its my belief that it shoudlnt get an SS hood, after market of OEM
