racing seats
but I say if they're going to hold you in place better than the crappy stock ones during spirited driving, then who cares what others think!

I put these in my Trans-Am and HATED them:
Keeping the power rails was easy... It's just the seats were cheap and had a rubbery feel (they're the ones sold by Summit and Jegs).
I (and BitViper I believe) am planning on getting these for the Z:

Pretty darn good price at $599 for the PAIR in LEATHER!
But, I keep spending my money on other things...

At times I'm tempted just to buy these cheaper similar seats:

Or, cloth (which may be better in Cali) cheaper still (but in black):
or, even cheaper, I've seen this style in a variety of colors (all cloth but they had solid black cloth with black stiching):

I plan on getting a Recaro when I get some money. They are more comfortable, safer and hold you down. Of course when you get the racing seat you need the 4 or 5 point racing harness.
