Smile Put on SS spoiler from Spoilerdepot.com

It took about 15 minutes with the correct size bolts. Everything fit great and the lines around the trunk were right on. Im very happy with the way it looks. The only thing that could have been better are the two posts by the light. They didn't sit all the way down, however they are really close. If I wanted to I could drill the trunk since the spoiler comes with the threads in the posts all ready for bolts. Paint and finish was great. I don't know how to post pics sorry 'bout that guys .

When I got my spoiler for my camaro the posts were about 3/16" above the trunk lid surface. The gap was filled with adhesive strips of foam to protect the trunk lid paint from any movement. Could that possibly be your issue?

I also put the strips on and your right it does fill it, but not all the way for me. However, you really have to get up close to see the gap.

I suppose you could drill and bolt down those posts but that IMO would cause a lot of stress on that spoiler and might eventually crack it. How thick is this gap youre talking about?

that what i did 2 years ago and there is no gap or any signs of stress at all. it has the nut already inside the post so all you need to do is drill the holes

Any closeup pics of how far away the posts are? Or maybe of each right and left side where it's supposed to line up with the quarterpanels?

I don't know what the hell happened, but the spoiler is now sitting flush with the car. It's like a gift from up above. I nearly messed myself looking at it. What the hell happened?
