Um they weight less than 25lbs a piece with the brackets on, stockers weight around 45lbs a piece (thats just judging from holding them, but im good at guessing weight)

oh yeah update, they are still comfortable as a baby's bottom, these seats are value for what you pay, I drive my car a lot and they are just awesome, no *** falling asleep.

I have been lookin at these also...

Now that I see this post, I am really leaning towards them! What kind of fabrication did you have to do? About how much time did it take you to install the seat?

Took me about 4 hours total, thats with experimenting and never having put these seats in before. Now that I know the best way it will be quicker

If you have a grinder, and a good drill with some decent bits, I see no reason that you couldnt have these seats installed in less than 2 hours. Probably quicker. But I used some bracket parts from the original seats, so if you were planning on selling those then im not sure how you would do that.

Ill do a detailed write up with pics on exactly how to do it you you guys want me to.

Can you post pics of the mount/pieces you had to fabricate to get them to fit in the car, and do you have a power driver's seat and if so, did you get it to work with these seats?

thank you

You could probably take them to a competant upholstery shop and something different embroidered on the head rests if you wanted.

That's a great link... I think that site has the BEST BUDGET minded seats (short of some random ebay links or that MAD RACING with the Arizen imitations...)

If my seats were garbage and I was poor I just might sport these:

heck, maybe even these:
