i think NHRA just changed the 11.99 to a 11.50 last year for the E.T. where a bar is needed.

2fast97Z I love the darkness. Seems menacing. I really like it alot. And yes they did change to 11.50 but with my new combo i will be too close to that to call so i am def installing cage. With a MS4 and PRC LS6 heads and pacesetter longtubes added to my motor combo below i aint taking any chances.

not to hijack the thread, but how hard is it to put in the bolt in cages by yourself? any general time frame it takes to do?

it dpeends which one you get
i have the one where it goes over the back onto where the gas tank is. i had to drop the gas tank to get those bolts. the others go back by the speakers on each side and bolt to the shocks. it took me about 2 hours to do the whole thing.

Yup, They are T-Top prop rods - I use them at shows - allows the t-top panels to still protect the interior from the sun somewhat while still letting people see the interior easier - plus they just look different for presentation purposes.

I get people asking me all the time if the roof actually opens like that and if they are powered.

They are just an anodized aluminum rod wih a 90deg bend in one end (inserts into rear body t-top locking hole) and a screw thru the other end that slides into the hollow ID of the actual t-top locking pin.
