WS9 hood? I heard about it, but never seen it? Any pics?

Try searching for WS9 hood. There are tons of threads with pictures... I know, I own two of these hoods and posted pics in the past.

well 20 would do... i was just trying to get the point across that it is huge.....

i wonder if u can even see out the windshield with that thing...

looks fine on a drag car but maybe a little to big for a dd...
i think the hood kinda grows on u after a while though

What the hell are you people talking about??? A WS9 hood is a mix of a WS6 and a Firehawk hood. The WS9 Outlaw has the bigger runners, but the regular WS9 is pretty much just a regular Ram Air hood with the heat extractors...

i dont know if ive seen just the WS9 hood.. i always see pics of the WS9 "outlaw" (i assumed it was the same thing).. it seems like i learn something new everyday

FYI the search is located in the top below your PM link. I found 49 title results for "WS9 hood".
Anway, the WS9 OUTLAW is a bigger version of the WS6 hood with Fire Hawk heat extractors. It is bigger, but not that big (see pic 5). Any true cowl hood is at least twice as tall as the WS9 outlaw.
The regular WS9 hood is a WS6 hood with Fire Hawk heat extractors. The scoops on the WS9 are IDENTICAL to the ones on the WS6 hood.
Oh yeah, spuds, saying the heat extractors are "ugly" is dissing all Fire Hawk owners.

You are right. I wasn't the first to explain it. What's your point? He just said the WS9 is a "WS6 hood on steroids". No, it is not. Me and three other people have already corrected everyone else who has confused the WS9 for the WS9 Outlaw. If he would have read the thread before posting he would have realized that. He was confused just like you. If he had posted the correct information, I wouldn't have said anything.

that thing looks like its gonna knock on my door and kick my ***.....
at first i thought they were a little to big, but the more i look the more i want one, but i have a camaro so maybe if i get a t/a ill look into buying one
