Is chrome paintable?
I would sell the rims and then buy black ones. Your going to go through too much hassle for the reults you want. Plus, the black ones are less money than the chrome ones, so you can make a little $. Just my.02
You probably wont get a good bond between the paint and chrome without sanding it down real well. Don't take my word though, I've never painted on chrome.

But, If you do want black Z06's, I agree with alot of other people in that its alot better economically and not as much of a pain in the butt to just sell yours and get what you want.

I wouldnt do pewter and black. I had the chrome z06's and they look 15x better on pewter then black would. But if you insist, at least sell those or trade em for the black ones. Just my .02 though!

Thanx guys, I needed that push onto deciding if im going to paint them or get rid of them. I guess im undecided of what I want I had Blk Z06 MS 17/18s sold them to get drag wheels & wasnt to comfortable braking with 3 1/2" wheels, and now im stuck with chrome ones. My next set of wheels will be Blk ZR1s w/315s out back.
