Default It's time to show off your Camaro Seat reupholstering

I'm looking for pictures of reupholstered interiors. I'm very interested in Katzkin and Leatherseats.com products. Please post pics if you have them. I'm leaning toward a 2 tone style. I have nuetral interior seats now but I'm thinking of adding a black insert. What are your opinions and experience with installing.

No experience, but it seems like a lot of folks on here use the Katzkins. Black inserts would be pretty good for any color car really, still pretty neutral color for an interior.

Wit Katzkins, I have heard that they will come to your house and install the covers for you. I will be doing this shortly, and hope what i heard is true.

As far as I know, you can either purchase an installation kit/instructions from them, or take it to an auto upholstry place and have it done.

speaking of re-upholstery, what special modifications wuld i have to do if i wanted to take the interior carpet from an lt1 4th gen and put it in my 02 ls1? any special cutting needed? does the donor car need to be an auto, like mine already is?

gettn tired of the tan interior...doesnt sit too well with me, an i've always liked the black/grey cloth. any help?

You can also get these nice houndstooth replacement skins from Year One:

They were in my '69, but those are 4th gen Camaro seats. They were very comfortable, especially in hot weather.
