98-02 Stock grille I'm sure someone has thought of this but I don't see it in any forum, has anyone ever just painted the stock grille glossy to match the paint instead of buying the aftermarket grille with the big license plate mounting holse in it?

just pull the stock one out and go from there. i live in CA and i don't have a plate in front and have never been pulled over for it. but yes i saw the stock one painted once and didn't like it at all. hope that helps.
