With Tbones kit- There is NO modifing anything! All 3 lights sequence, and also sequence when the brake is applied. He does recommend switching the outer most bulb for a bigger size (dont remember the number) so it illuminates brighter during daylight hours. But again there is no cutting or dremeling nething... Other than the wires when you splice.

Here is a quick clip of his kit on my car, that ive had for over 4 years w/ no problems. It starts at about a minute into the vid. http://www.fquick.com/videos/viewvideo.php?id=1656

How does he reccommend installing a larger bulb without changing the socket? The factory socket is sized very small as the bulb is a #194 if I'm not mistaken. I don't know of any bulbs the same size as the others but with a 194 base.

At the beginning of your vid I was thinking 'holy ****, look at the smoke - boy does that need a tune' then I noticed it was taken in winter

If you use an electronic HD Flasher the lights will sequence more pronounced instead of the smooth wave look (unless that's how you like it) plus the outer bulb (of whatever size) will light for more than a few milliseconds...

Alright, now you just made me pull my light panel off! I tried to find the numbers for the bulbs, but there were none. I might have the instructions somewhere where he gives the number. Trust me though, it is a larger bulb than the stock 194, in the factory socket. And it works...

I'm using an electronic flasher. Theres a speed dial on his board that you can play with to get the desired effect youre looking for. If you slow it down you can get the pronounced look, but yeah, i like the smooth wave like flow.

I'd be more than happy to send you pics of the back of my panels sometime, so you can see for yourself. Shoot me a Pm me if ya want. -Kevin

You will not have to do any modification to the tail lights if you don't want the stock look. If you swap out the 194 bulb for a bigger one without changing the socket, you will loose your parking lights. So instead of having three parking lights you will have two. You will need a dual filament bulb to keep the stock look.

I would like to do sequential tail lights. However they are not legal in NJ and I would much rather just have some LEDs back there.

I'll be the rebel. I hate them. If they came on sequentially at first when the brake was supplied and then stayed on that would look okay. I don't like how they keep starting over... and over... and over.

They only sequence once and then stay on as long as the brake is held. The only time they, "start over and over" is when the turn signals are on.
