Default manta or not?

I'm considering doing a black painted manta scheme on my ss. It would be the manta scheme on the scoop and the single wide stripe on the spoiler and under the spoiler on the deck lid. What do you guy's think.

Yeah i'm thinking about it too...most of the time i like it the way it is but sometimes i think it needs something else. Did you get a quote yet? Mine was $600 front/back over/under spoiler.

I like the manta scheme. It really accents the hood scoop and makes it more "in your face." Don't do it in black though. I would use a softer color against the white.

Its a tough decision but im gonna have to say dont do it... i think the black will be too harsh or a color on that car and it does look really good as it is...

I say go for it. I love the way my manta looks and howierd is right about how it accents the hood scoop. Ive been thinking about going with a 35th stripe too but I still love the manta.

howierd42's idea is interesting about a different color. Maybe like a steel color to accent the wheels and emblems.

I allways thought a brilliant candy copper would look killer against the white. Dodge had a concept a while back that was this same collor and its the only time I have seen it on anything. PPG has a Harlequin collor that changes from copper to a bright maroon that would look cool. Or check out House of collors for some other pearl/candy or different collors.

i think maybe like a grey metalic color thats not so dramatic as black would look good...but only on the hood, the same color as the silver black bird stripes
