New Interior.. Or Keep?
So after some thumbs up and some downs from my new interior thread I am wondering what should I do. Keep it yellow or go another route, or change something?

I say keep it yellow. I mean who cares what everyone thinks, your car is unique with the yellow and black interior. If you changed it to any of the other colors, you would be just like everyone else that changes their interior. I say go with the Black/Yellow theme throughout the whole car. Such as yellow calipers, yellow blackbird stripes, and a yellow bird in the front, with yellow pontiac inserts in the rear. IMO it would look pretty sweet.

Black and yellow is not my thing. But thats just my oppinion, and definately doesn't mean it looks bad.
It's definately different, how does it tie into the rest of the car? What's done on the outside/engine bay?
My question is, how did you modify the HU cover to fit the double din? Did you cut up a factory one and re mold it yourself? Or did you just start from scratch? Did you have to lower the HVAC panel slightly?
Don't mean to get off track, but I'm pretty curious? I've heard that Pioneer HU is pretty sweet too!

keep it yellow, maybe match some other things to help accent the other yellow. Like get your seats re-upholstered with some yellow stitching and inserts, floormats with a yellow bird, head reads embroidered with a yellow phoenix and trans am, ect. I think this would really help. BTW where did you get the yellow pleather for the door inserts?

Im with the other guys here. I personally think it could look good but right now its kind of outa place just because theres not much yellow there to tie everything together. I say ditch the yellow headliner but add more yellow throughout the rest of the car. Dont go overboard though, just a few subtle yellow accents should be good.

Ok guys thanks so far, I really have a better feel of what everyone thinks. I will try to answer some of your questions....
Well the only thing else yellow is the brake calipers. When I first got the car I put chrome decals on all the outside things like the front/rear bird, TA emblems, and the rear inserts... do you guys think I should change them all to yellow or no?
Well this was a challenge. I did cut the factory one up and remolded it myself. Took me about 2 or 3 new trim pieces to get it right and some bondo and I managed to do a half way decent job. The HVAC panel is pretty much sitting on the bottom of the radio area, and there is no room what so ever inbtween that and the HU... its a really tight fit. I fabricated some brackets to hold in the HU and then slapped on the new trim piece. I have had a few people PM me about this, maybe I should do a write up?????
ebay... i have ordered alot from this company.. really nice and fast shipping, always has same ebay ad up simular to this one..

I know a lot of you guys said about just doing a small accents to tie it all in.. give me some examples for the interior, engine, etc. Thanks.

Yellow looks good. BTW like the monitor indash. Green light the write up.
Also, I had my interior stripped last weekend to lay some stereo, and comparing my interior parts condition to yours, your car as wicked clean. It looks like no one has ever been inside your car. Ever.

def. do the write up and i gave you some ideas already for what you should do to accent the interior. Exterior: I would say brake calipers which you have, yellow trans am overlays, yellow bird overlay for front (maybe), and rear. Don't want to overdue it! Thanks for the link btw!
