Nahhh.... the next $4 grand will be going into STS's pockets.

It took me about two months on weekends and everyday after work. I've never really sat down and priced out a whole engine though. This is the first time.

I'd get some bling over time that accentuates the true fire. Honestly, your car doesn't need much at all. I wanted true flames so bad. I harassed Stryker almost weekly.

(Cores not included)
rough idea on the misc stuff please don't quote exactly.

1)Weiand intake if it was satin... $300
2) Maf ends $60 outside only
3) Throttle body $80 outside only
4) Waterpump $350 new in the box (no core required)
5) 160* thermostat $15
6) Belt tensioner (bolts to waterpump) $80
7) Valve Covers $130 pair
8) Cylinder heads $185 each
9) Valley cover plate (under the intake) $100 (or you could have the 1st 4 inches that shows for a bit less)
10) Timing cover $100
11) Coolant crossover line $10
12) powersteering pump mounting bracket $45
13) Fuel rail $50

So not counting the intake there's roughly $1390 worth of work. And I would have earned every penny.

If somebody did the block too $1500 plus what I've quoted ($1390) plus buying a new polished Weiand manifold ($800) they would have something that looks like it was hung from a chain and dipped in a vat of chrome. $3690 Can you imagine?
PICSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!
i say True Fire...but im biased theres not realy all that much to paint though!
however as said above ^^^^ i actually CANT imagine lol i would die

lol. Check on first page Tumblr, Josh posted quite a few pics of his engine and actually got called a pic *****, lol. Yea i already have true fire done on my intake/FRC's and airbox which should be going soon to a polished radiator cover and polished turbo intake pipe! Hey Josh.... what do you think i should look into getting polished on the motor to bring out the fire more? The TB was done by me and is OK, doesmnt shine like yours of course tho. I also have a Granatelli MAF so it cant have polished ends... LMK what you think, thanks!

Waterpump, tensioner, thermostat, valve covers peaking out of the FRC. Let me chrome up the throttle body. Do what's on the front of the engine basically.

Are you planning to get boosted (turbo) by year end?

Could you just clear over the polised parts? And keep the finish longer?

What about the CHROME power coating that is out now?

Clear paint is a big ZERO when it comes to fine quality. Only use Zoopseal, expensive but crystal clear and lasts for two years. It's available currently at Eastwood, a sponsor==>

Chrome powder coating is avaliable through me, but *I* prefer clean polished metal. ~Joshua
