check the main fuel pump relay, Mine had that problem(run for 45sec-1min) before so i tested the relay and it checked out okay, but I went ahead and pulled out the air pump and put it in the fuel pump relays spot and it's been fine since. I think the relay was getting hot and failing.
That is a insane price. Just a few questions unless I missed the answer, What happened to the stock hood and I can't really tell but is the front clip missing the nose emblem? I know you had a car fax ran on the vehicle but have you double, triple checked it for any signs of collision. Reguardless that is one hell of deal and being that I work for a insurance company, even salvaged vehicles cost more than that. Congrats though...man I would love to pick up another F-body at that price.

too bad money cant buy intelligence. most halfwits culd see that the hood doesnt look right on there.

thanks for all of the input. I will be working on the car for the first time this weekend, I will let you all know what i find out. I am going to start by looking at the fuel system, but someone brought up a good point with the anti theft system it has, maybe something some how got fucked up and is not allowing it to run for very long. Has this happened to anyone else, could it be the anti theft system that is not allowing it to run?
not sure about the anti theft system, but with the fuel system issue start simple (you should do that with any problem). check fuel pressure with a good gauge, change the fuel filter and go from there. maybe it has crappy gas in the tank.

i don't know if it might help you at all but my cavalier (lol yea i know) that i used to have. did this to me and on the key fob we held the lock and unlock button for like 20 seconds and it would have fired right up but the many times from trying to start it killed the battery. just a try but i know the f-bodies have the chip in the key so maybe somethings not right there.

Thats how much I payed for my 90 305 tbi formula with 178k on it. That is ridiculous. I would say nice find but that just isn't enough. I thought my 99 formula was a steal for 8500 with 58k in very nice shape.

I picked up the car yesterday, I have washed it and found part of the problem if not the whole problem. the fuel pump fuse was blown, and an injector was leaking fuel. anyone know where to get the best deal on injectors. should i replace with stock injectors or go a little bigger? and do injectors from an 03 mustang gt work on the ls1? I have new pics of the car and will be posting them later tonite. the car only has 80,608 miles.
