Default Got the new gauge pod setup installed...

I just got the 3-pod pillar installed and added my aeroforce interceptor gauge. I also put the red covers on the bulbs for the stewart warner oil pressure and water temp gauges. I must say, I kinda like them with the red and the interceptor gauge is just badass. Anyway, check out the pics. They came out a bit blurry per usual but you get the picture.

It's an Aeroforce Interceptor guage. Looks nice man. A red one would match the best for the bottom guage, but the cheapest route would be to change the color of the other two.

Thanks for the compliments. I went the black/white route on the aeroforce gauge because I originally didn't have the red boots on the autometer bulbs and I also didn't want the interceptor gauge to stand out too much. I think it's a pretty good combo the way it stands now.

How do you like the Interceptor gauge? Is it easy to use? Menus, scrolling thru options, etc? I have mine on order and it should be here by Wednesday. Cant wait to start playin' with it

I got the interceptor gauge a couple months after I already had the water temp and oil pressure gauges. I didn't want it to replace those two gauges, I will be using it to monitor KR and my fuel trims mostly. I do like the gauge a lot. It's not as high quality as it should be for $200+ as the buttons feel a bit chincy and such but it sure does a lot of stuff. It will prove to be very useful and I definitely would say it's worth the money.

BTW, I got a vid of the gauges as well if anyone wants to see.

The Alpine HU will most likely die with my car. I've had this unit for 3 years now and it's top notch. I don't think I'll ever get rid of it. I use the remote all the time so that the buttons don't wear out and still look brand new... I know, a bit OC, but it's who I am That HU ain't goin nowheres.

Does the interceptor really just plug into the diagnostic port? There has to be some wiring, right?

It just plugs into the diag port in the drivers side footwell. All it needs is to be tapped into a 12V switched source for power. It's the simplest gauge I've ever hooked up.
