Your exactly right, I have noticed it and so has DroppedM6Z(my real painter). He is going to straighten out that lil detail soon for me though.

I have been looking for a place to relocate those grounds too, I certainly appreciate the tip.

Looking good

I really like the candy apple red, and you should paint some other stuff that same color. Maybe paint the radiator support pewter, and paint the lid red. Then paint a big SS in pewter on the red lid. The lid is the first thing people notice, and right now its lacking IMO.

I am considering powdercoating the STB in the candy apple red as well and possibly going to paint the lid pewter. I just dont want to get over the top. Painting the support pewter and lid red would clash badly. The candy apple red is powdercoating, I can't match it with paint(I have tried and failed). I am probably going to try the lid in pewter, it will hopefully flow with the FRCs, if not I can easily enough go back to black on it. The FRCs already say Camaro SS on them, so I would rather not add any more emblems/wording.

Surprisingly enough, Ace Hardware is a good source of polished metric bolts.

Looks good P. And yes the pictures dont do it justice. What made you attempt spray can paint? Erik should say no to fixing it for you. And the braided lines? I will have to see thoose close up. Other than that it does look realy good.

There are other things in there that are rattle can painted, I just put a poor effort into the lid. Whoever commented the lid is the first thing you see is pretty accurate too, and it needs a quality job. I have always wanted a clear lid, I just don't want to pay the coin for it right now, other things that are priority.

I do appreciate the constructive criticism from you guys as well, its been very helpful so far.

As said, do the wire mod and move some of the ground straps.
There is an easy way to do the wiremod without cutting a big hole, but involves removing the pins from the connectors. Doesnt take too long and my entire process took less than 1 1/2hrs. I intend to do a write up on that method soon, but pm me if you have questions.

Otherwise looks very nice.
