I agree with, and have used, the hose method...it worked. One good blast with the water and the cat never walked on the vehicles again...

simple psychology my friend...simply psychology. this trick works as well with humans, too. observe:

unconditional stimulus = *your* radio

conditional stimulus = *your* radio, armed with sensor that sends a punching glove from out the passenger-side airbag into the face of said passenger

conditional response = your g/f realizes she's in *your* car
thats awesome, i luv psychology

If the owners won't declaw the cat, get the cat and duct tape all 4 of its paws. If that doesnt work a BB will teach it a lesson without killing the cat.

I wish I could see when they jump but they dont do it when somebody is around.
Ill try with covers, I have to buy 2 and they are expenssive and I hope that doesnt help them to build a nice bed or easier to climb

The only bad thing about the covers, is since cats with claws like to scratc at fabric etc, they car covers will be trashed. I can also guarantee they will use it to help climb.

I would do floor mat thing, and the hose thing. Th cats I have known hate water.

Most will only do the front claws. There isnt a point to do the back ones. SO declawing would be pointless since the back claws are more than likely the culprits over the front.

THIS WILL WORK!!!

Put him in your car when no one is home. Drive him to the next town and drop him off in a nice neighbor hood. Some one will take hime in. Then when everyone at your home notice he's missing, act like you know nothing about it. No more harm to your car, and no harm to the cat.

Our cat jumped on my hood once. I just pulled into the driveway and i see the cat come up from the side and jump on the hood and then slowly side down the slope of the hood with his claws out. It was kind of funny to see from inside the car, but the stupid ****** left tiny scratches on the hood. They wern't too deep though and will probably buff out fairly easy.

That was back when all the car had was a flowmaster 80 muffler in it. Now I have LT's and the cutout, i pull in the driveway and if i see a cat around i just throw it a little rev and they take off

But i just park it in the garage and don't have to worry about it. If you get them declawed, they will still go on the car and leave their foot prints, and their hard pads on their feet can leave marks in the paint too. Id just somehow train them to not go on the car.

I would do the wolf pee stuff........first.

Second, I'd take a hose and spray that ******

I used to see cat prints on my car in the morning, one time he was standing right there when i got home, i hit the cutout and punched it in Neutral and never saw him again1
