Ok I have a problem !! need smart advice
Well my friends I need advice. My 2 cats that live outside the house are getting up on both of my cars , found footprints and maybe 4 more scratches on the camaro and 1 on the new TA. It must be at night because I never see them doing that but is bothering the hell out of me and I do like those cats but come on scratching the hell out of the cars and no money to repain is bullshit. I do have a garage but there are machines there that my dad uses so I cant make him take them out. So I cant use it, basically. Im planning on moving in about 4 months out of here but by then they will be all scratched. Im going to get 2 car covers and try that way but I hope is not a easier way for them to climb and probably scratch them more.
Here is a pic of the evidence and the pic of that little dick cat

I have had a cat do the same thing to mine and even climbed into the car when i had the tops off.
Mabe build something for the cat to climb. To take out the scraches try scrachx.
Or try and catch it and scare it off and it will learn to stay off.

Do not run towards the cat yelling at him while he's on the car.... The cat will get scared and try and run. This will result in many scratches. I have a cat that loves to get on the cars, but he's been in the family too long so he's not moving. I just park the car in the garage.

the cat is loved by everybody here, after I shot him they will shot me. But you know what they are not going to learn like dogs but people supposed to be smarter" and I dont know why my parents in law have that garage full of junk, and all of the cars outside
so what you guys think about the covers, will it help or the claws are just going to go through the cover

lets just pray you dont put a bullet in your car, and miss the cat. try the hose everytime you see it there. most cats dont like water too much. keep him in check, and your car should be good to go.

My father fixed this problem once. He took all of the floor mats out of all of our cars and laid them on top of the one that he wanted them to stay off of...but he laid them down upside down so the rubber nubs were pointing up. It made it uncomfortable for the cat to stand/lay up there, so he gave up on it.

Park your car down the street a little bit. Like maybe 15 yards away from your driveway until you move 4 months from now. The cats wont go all the way out there. A 30 second walk would be a sacrifice you make to save your paint... ~Joshua

learned this in psychology - animals learn by ways of conditional learning.
unconditional stimulus = car
unconditional response = cat on car
conditional stimulus = car cover+electric shocker (220v shuld do the trick)
conditional response = cat will never touch a car again...if he's still alive.
simple psychology my friend...simply psychology. this trick works as well with humans, too. observe:
unconditional stimulus = *your* radio
unconditional response = your g/f changing *your* music
conditional stimulus = *your* radio, armed with sensor that sends a punching glove from out the passenger-side airbag into the face of said passenger
conditional response = your g/f realizes she's in *your* car
