True, they do not "Stock" the 1998 style, since they had to special order mine from MacEwen. According to their website, the Fire Bird bezel will not fit the 1998 Camaro, only the 1999-2002.
I see nothing about this on MacEwen's website:
1997 Camaro White Face Overlay & Bezel Kit. Fits Late 1997-1998 150 mph, 5.7L. (Includes OEM Pontiac TA Bezel & Lens). Fits DIGITAL ODOMETER MODELS ONLY!Kit is designed to be used with Firebird lens/bezel.
I do not know why ws6store thinks there is a seperate bezel for the 1998 Camaro.

well i just bought a bezel off of ebay from a 97 TA. Hopefully it works, if not i guess i'll have to do some fabrication to get it to work.
going to pick up the Aluminum Replacement Gauge Face from NR auto. kind of concerned about having to remove the needles though.

Thanks LS1obsession and Z95m6 for the info.

I'll post pics once i have it all together.

So WTH do I need to do if I want white guages in my 98? A 97-98 kit with a TA bezel?
Do you have to use a TA bezel?

Just order the gauges with out the bezel. The bezel just cleans the entire cluster up nicely. You don't need it. It just looks alot better with it.

Scott I have had MacEwen gauges in my 1998 Camaro for several years along with the STD T/A gauge bezel and they fit fine!! No special bezel required.
