the best way to remove tint is to get a spray bottle(soapy water)spray the window down alot, then take a trash bag and cover the tint completely use tape to hold in place and roll the car out in the sun for a while and roll up the windows and the humidity will pull the tint back,i did not come up with this my buddy tints for a living and thats what he said to do...

The plastic bag idea worked for me, I used ammonia though instead of regular soap. I guess the ammonia eats away at the tint, that's why you're not supposed to use windex on tint. For the rest of the areas I used a very fine steel wool pad soaked with nail polish removal, all the gummy crap came right off. Biggest thing that will help you when you pull it off is try to get both layers (the dark film and the adhesive) at the same time.

I dont understand why this is being made a big deal, I stripped my whole car last weekend in an hour. Its really not that hard, nor is it rocket science. The two side windows start with a razor blade, peel a corner then pull the rest off. Spray the wndow with soapy water and take a razor blade and go up and down the window scraping all the excess glue off. the back window I started with a rozor blade. Peeled a corner then pulled half the window off before it tore. I repeated with the other side. Then took steel wool with soapy water and got all the excess glue off. Viola and hour later your done, and ready for re-tint.
