Default Opinion: Clear or blacked out side markers?

Having a hard time deciding which to do. Price isn't an issue. Clear looks really clean on white TA's (well, all TA's really)...and blacked out looks pretty sweet too. This is the only straight side shot I have of the car.

and

Side badges are black, front bird is black, rear filler is black. CETA mod coming in a few weeks. Tail lights will not be blacked out. Thanks for the opinions. A photoshop or relative pic would be helpful since I suck at the photoshop.

I say do blacked out markers, with a black blackbird stripe on the hoos with chrome ram air badges. Then some Black HP Lightning wheels with a chrome lip and I think that your T/A would look badass!!

They look fine as is, its a lil extra set off to the car imo.

Leave them alone she looks cool and the soon coming mods will help, playing with the sidemarkers often looks cheap, if not that misplaced just my humble thought.

They don't look right to me, that's all I meant. It's your car not mine.

A good deal of the aftermarket markers are quite poorly made, I can't tell if yours are from your sig pic, but aside the point you know what I mean very few companies offer a good fitting well made replacement, and even those just don't seem to look right to me.

Pic or link to site that has that wheel? Tried google and came up with crap.

And thanks for the other opinions thus far. I'm beginning to think that blacked out may be too much. With black wheels they look a lot better...but I won't be buying black wheels for a good while, if ever. Thanks again for the opinions.

Your right it is my car, and personally I think that clear markers look good, no matter the application. All companies make the same freakin thing, so it really doesnt matter where you get em from. Any clear corner can fog up and look like crap, it doesnt matter where their from.

If you plan to do the tails black then go with black. Otherwise go clear.

I'll beg to differ there about the same thing. I have a car where I feel the clear side marker lights look nice, I am on my 3rd set, fogging was the issue, you are right the current set is 3 years old and no problems fits like OEM while the other brands, didn't have as clear plastic or as good as a fit.

Luckly on most all cars it's not a costly mod, so you can afford to trial and error till you find a set that works well for you

Since your car is white, I say get the clear ones. They will blend in the car and won't look out of place like chunks of paint missing.

If money isn't an issue, why not pick up both sets and try them both to see which you like more. You will always be able to sell the set you don't prefer.

Just my thoughts.
