I got my black halo headlights in today and they were a bitch to get on. I even snapped one of the 2 plastic pieces on the bottom that are supposed to catch when you mount it to the car. I got them in and they look great. Another problem I had was trying to keep the rubber sides from flopping out especialy on the corners.
they came out ok though

Yeah, I pulled that up and over and made the lights easier to get in. I dont know if its normal but is the hood supposed to hit the rubber on the lights? I cant help but noticed that the hood is a little higher on the corners than it used to be.

The side bumpers on mine are tightly rubbing the headlights, bu i don't think the hood hits the headlights. Just adjust them, but make sure they still light up the road, took awhile for me to get them in but then, took me another while to adjust the light to hit the road just right so i can see the road.

They look good. I would remove them and install your stock mounting brackets on them. It will make them much easier to align and will also fit MUCH better. This will probably also help with your rubbing on the hood.
As far as your rubber molding goes, when you have them off to put the stock headlight bracketry on get some weather strip adhesive and put a VERY SMALL amount of it on the rubber and it should help with that. I also used my stock molding(from my stockers) as it is much better than the crap they send withthe halos.
Any more questions, let me know!
