Default Hotchkis Kit Installed, some pics....

They are a little bit dark, sun is going down here in good-ole MI. The wheels on the back def. have the wrong offset/backspacing (if you read my other thread about the car you would understand) So on decent size dips or bumps the tire will rub, if the was a 1/4 less backspacing, not even that much, there would be zero problems. I think it looks sweet. It is still about a half inch off however, height wise side to side and we dont know why... Anyway heres the pics....

i am now, we temporarily fixed the ride height, put some spacers in the passenger rear spring, noticed that the panhard bar is all outta whack, could that contribute to my uneven ride height, it bows in ward towards the front from the back....

I may be wrong but I'd imagine that a bent panhard would only mess with lateral placement of the rear end. Not so much an uneven ride height.

thats alright, if it wont fix it it wont fix it, nothing we can do about it, i think like 3 different "frame" guys have looked at my car now, according to them nothing is out of whack, some other users say that alot of fbodies ride uneven, its all good now, I will still be replacing the panhard in order to recenter the rear end as I have heard it gets out of center when the lowering kit is installed... no opinions on how it looks? I know not many like the wheels, but they will be replaced, i think it looks great!

The car was made that way ( 1/2 lower on the right) according to GM.... The spacers should do it. The bent PHB will throw it off side to side. Just get an adjustable one..

Yes the car came from the factory that way, you're totally fine (when you sit in it, it'll be even). I think everything looks great. You will have to get an APHR though in order to recenter the rear. Also you MUST get an alignment done...MUST!

Also at 1st I thought the wheels were gay as hell, but now I kinda like them, no reason to get rid of them

In case you didn't understand when I said "it'll drop a hair more"

all 4 corners will seriously drop about an 1/8 to 1/4 more once the springs settle, I guess 2 months or so

o yea the saving has began, these wheels were only being put on so I could have my car back from the body shop, they still havent straightened everything out with my insurance company with the wheels. We are trying to get them to write me a check so I can buy the wheels from my dad, they said they wouldnt buy used wheels, but these werent even mounted, they are for his show car that wont be done for a while, he is generously letting me use them. I have about 1000 dollars saved to go towards wheels right now, and they will give me 1500 its like 2600 for the ccw's, I may buy them now, or I may just wait until spring. If i buy them now ill have to look at them all winter, it would be torture... but thanks for the comments.... At first I missed my minitruck. the fbody is def. growing on me....

check your rear springs. turning the springs so that they both have the ends in the same position will affect the ride height. turn the springs until they sit even.

Look really good! Not to steal your whole thread or anything but has anyone heard of Zen or Zenn springs?
