I don't like that metal contraption Arizen calls a lumbar either. I'd rather get the Mad Racing one's cheaper and then have my own foam lumbar added...

SO, Mad Racings are knock off Arizens which are knock off Recaros...

Mine shipped today, UPS is showing a weight of 30 LBS per wrapped package so that is good, should save me a lil weight, and if not they should be comfy!

my arizen's shipped today too! and you will see why I went with them. Btw, their customer service is amazing. I did not have the greatest experience with madracing as you read from the other threads. You can get leather from arizen btw. And trust me, although madracing does not advertise it, that entire seat IS NOT LEATHER, only the insert. Even in the highest quality seats, the entire seat is not leather...it is an option and a costly one at that.

1) Cut the thread and de-thread it... Fabric will look rough there but the DAD will be gone... you could also get something else ebroidered where it was.
2) Get that part re-upholstered... Can't be too much money and the seats are only $300 shipped to begin with...
3) CHEAPEST route, take a black marker to the red thread, won't be gone but it will be less noticeable...

I called them today and they are weighing the DAD and the fiberglass back ones for me, I will post when I find out. Also, anyone know where you can get a bracket to bolt these right in. I'm going to sell the old seats so I can't mod those.
