Default Gauge Lights

Well I got my red gauge lights today from www.ledgauges.com and I am very very happy! They are bright and look amazing.. I also got the HVAC and headlight switch kit.. I ran into a little of trouble with the headlight kit so I havent finished it yet.. But here are the pictures of my gauges and HVAC..

Nathan I can get better pictures of the HVAC if you needed a better one....

In my opinon, Red is for Pontiacs (always has), but if YOU like it, then thats all that matters.

It still looks great though.

Try this link for good info on the headlight switch LED. It is simple but seeing it done first helped me alot.
http://www.keliente.com/LED.htm

I did the same kit with my car and it looks great, the headlight switch LED is the dimmest of them all, it could stand to be a little brighter in my opinion.

If you have any questions ask Nathan, he will help you out right away

Where are you from? I'll help you if you are close. Try scuffing the small contact ponits on the switch before soldering.

I think I am going to use my extra HVAC LED in place of the small one for the HL switch and see if that brightens it up.

I got 2 headlight leds and i broke one.. But Now I might just try the extra HVAC or see if I can get some bigger leds to work.. (I have some around here)

Well I tried to solder the extra HVAC light to it and again couldnt get the solder to stick to the thing.. I even scuffed it up.. My solder gun is one of those "Cold Heat" ones so maybe thats the reason its so hard.. You have to get it on there just right or it wont even heat up and then any slight movement it cools off again..

I did it.. I went out to walmart and bought a different solder iron and went at it. I soldered the extra HVAC bulb up to it and well its still light out but from what I could tell it looks amazing!

Glad you got it done! I went ahead and switched the LED's out. I used the extra HVAC LED as well and it made all the difference in the world. Probably 2 or 3 times as bright as the smaller LED.
