Default WS6 Spoiler

You know that 2nd spoiler people throw on... ON TOP of the stock Trans Am Spoiler? What is holding that on? Just a couple screws/bolts I imagine? The car I am buying has that stupid garbage and I want to rip it off as soon as I get it. I want to make sure I have the correct tool handy other then a chainsaw to get that ugly piece off.

i think that's the commander wing or something like that. if i remember correctly it replaces the t/a spoiler and is a 2-tiered spoiler itself. it's hideous.

Its from wings west and it's not a ws6 spoiler. ws6 and regular TA have the same "uplevel" spoiler.

It's all one piece. You're gonna have to spend the money to get a normal one, find a domestic ricer who wants to trade, or deal with it. (I strongly recommend one of the first 2). I'm no expert on this at all, but does anybody know if it's possible to somehow cut it, fill it, and paint it over?

You can take it off with a Saw-all, or baseball bat.

But I'm guessing it is held on with some sort of bondo or something. Hopefully they did not drill any holes in the spoiler.

Wouldn't that be much harder since I'd have to find someone to repaint my hatch?

I highly doubt that it is molded on. I had the wings west spoiler on my formula, the lip one and it was held on with double sided tape.
