I used to have the same problem at my old house, alley cats jumping on my cars. Hid behind the garage waited till they jumped on it, then blasted them with the garden hose, a couple times and they remembered.

I had the cat problem once, jumping on the car, scratching stuff, pissing, actually two of em' were getting in and I was getting tired of chasing them.
"Bang" I took care of the 1st one. The second one was a little sneakier so....
You know those big mice glue traps, They are like 12"x8" and stick like crazy glue. I got about 6 of them and lined up the side of the wall where I thought it was getting into the garage. 2 days later I go in there and the fricken traps are everywhere with tons of cat hair stuck to em'. It must of been a riot to see this thing flippin out, wish I had a motion sensing camera or something. Anyways he never came back.
I don't hate cats, I actually have one. But mess with the car, then no mercy for you.

get some catnip - the stuff they just cant resist - and make a trail of it from ur car to, say...a big "X" on the ground in ur garage. at said "X," lay down a piece of flytrap paper (feel free to add extra glue to it) so when the cat steps on it, he's stuck, an while he's tryin to shake it off, this will trigger a pressure-sensitive switch which will then release the punching glove that was retracted into the wall right in front of said "X," therefore knocking the **** outta kitty.
this is what psychologists call classical coniditioning - where the once neutral stimulus - the car - has now elicited the same unconditioned response as the punching glove did (the response being intense pain). next time, the cat will more than likely sleep next to the car as opposed to on top of it.
problem solved. just think pscyology dude...

I got cat prints on my car right now. I came back from vacation and open my garage and see them all over the place. My first thought was that some stupid cats got into my garage and slept on my car while I was at vacation but after thinking it out it was more than likely my girlfriends cats. It never fails when I get ready to leave her house this one cat she has is on top of my car. I'm a cat lover but my cat is inside where he can't get his grubby paws on anybodys car. Ticks me off when I spend time cleaning my car and then a damn cat gets it dirty. I did get 2,347 on the cat game with my girlfriends cat in mind the whole time.

+1 on the target practice.... and +1 on the pit bull cats use to get on my car I left my pitbull chained up in the front yard and just far enough to not get on the car and never had problems again...

I've got the same problem, my neighborhood is like a cat sanctuary. When I was moving in my buddy and I were carrying the dresser upstairs and two stray cats ran in the house. One went upstairs through our feet and the other straight to the living room!!! I see them every other night on my car, I've actually tossed a nerf ball and pegged one of the bastards but all it did was make him lose his balance and scratch my car all the way down as he fell! I've called animal control and but I don't see any less cats.

MMMWWWWWWWHHHHHHHAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!
A dog would be a great deterrent. Mothballs might work, our cat used to pee on **** under the workbench, and mothballs kept out of there.
Airsoft gun is the best bet though. Hurts like a **** but won't injur them. Back when I was 12 or 13 all of us had airsoft pistols and we'd have a ******* war. Shot one of my friends straight in the nuts from 20 feet, one in a million shot, he fell straight down and was out for 5 minutes.

So just shoot that damn cat in the nuts with an airsoft gun.
