That sounds like an interesting combination for the Trans Am. I met a guy at the track once that had an LS1 that he bought brand new but it had the older LT1 style headrests in it. There are some odd ***** out there I guess...

Your car looks great Heath!! When I got mine they had a black Formula sitting right next to the Trans Am. I thought about the Formula for a little, but liked the TA more.

how many miles are you up to?
I lived so close to work for a number of years I have 90K on mine. Not bad for 9 years and it being my only car for 7 of them. I am amazed you were able to keep the mods to a minimum over the years. I have had 2 different blowers, now the turbo, and a host of other things. Spread out over 9 years though it hasn't been too rough on the pocketbook. Keep it looking good. I wonder how many of us original owners of the first batch of cars there are out there?

I just checked mine and it was built in 9/97. It has about 52,000 miles on it right now. It was my primary car until about 2 years ago.
Seems like a few of these older cars are still looking awesome!!

Yeah, I guess you can say it doesn't get driven much. It has to share nice weather/weekend cruiser duty with the Monte in my sig. But unfortunately, it seems neither one of them get out much.
As for the low mods on the TA, I try to limit the mods to the Monte so that the Trans stays a nice reliable 'peppy' street car. Don't have to worry about smelling bad, is mild manner, but still holds its' own pretty good
