How do you guys keep the carpet clean?

I was thinkin of getting some of that plastic like dealers put down over the floor mats anyone know where to get that? I think its sticky on the bottom and sticks to the floor. In one of my other cars I put clear mats over the stockers and that worked ok but I dont really wanna do that in this car.

i just am really careful with whts on my shoes and stuff and its gets vaccumed all the time so its pretty much always clean..i dont knwo if i could handle the plastic on the floor that would be awful ugly and annoying, but its up to you

Vacuum regularly and keep something like Folex around for spot cleaning.

You could always invest in a pair of rubber mats. That way you dont have to be as careful about whats on your shoes before getting in the car. Every car wash just hose them off before u wash the car. Set them aside and let them dry while you wash the car and by the time you're done they should be dry. Any bit of dirt/rocks/leaves that may get past them around the edges can easily be vacuumed up.

just vacum a lot and make sure you don't step in a mud puddle before you get in it

Me too I just vacuum a lot and I tap my feet together to get off the lose dirt before I step into the car.

Vacume works but wont keep it like show room new. Im either going to get clear mats again or put some kind of plastic down.

My buddy kept the plastic down in his GTO, it doesn't look that bad, and I can't think of a better way to prevent stains from spilling stuff... anyone know where you can buy it?
