Hello everyone, I'm just having a hard time deciding whether to leave my Trans Am white or paint it black. What I have planned to do within the next month or 2 is installing my ws9 hood, getting TTM's/BLACK (17 x 9.5 in front 10.5 in rear). & tinted window's, That's about it. If I go black, I want to surround it with red accents but I like the way the white looks at night. It's more noticeable than black. I also hear black is easy to notice scratches but I've never had a black car. Right now I'm leaning towards black, I think it'll look pretty sick with the black ttm's and red accents.

Nooooooooooo! Don't do it Honestly, I had a black Camaro. Black looks hot when it's freshly cleaned but, requires more upkeep and shows more dirt/ imperfections. I never thought I would go for white but, now I love it. Very clean and allows for many color combinations.

it depends, how much do you like washing your car, 2-3 times a week if you DD? Then go for it

Very true, in the summer when i go cruising its literally 2-3 times and on occasion 4 times a week!!! And thats only maybe 150-250 miles.

True but maybe for the exception of the almighty Sunset Orange

Why only white or black? There are some very unique paint colors out there ya know. Go white with a tint to it or something.

there not lying, i'll wash the car and detail it for hours and if it even sits in a parking lot for a an hour or two it looks like i never even washed it. overnight? forget about it. pollen season, rain, snow, dusty breeze? HA!

Black looks freegan awesome when clean, but never stays clean.

i wouldnt paint your dd black especially if your worried about showing scratches ect.... everyone always wonders how my car is kept clean...its garaged with a cover and everytime i drive it i quick detail it before the cover goes back on its a pain in the *** but its a labor of love and its only driven maybe 100-200 miles a week depending on rain

Keep it white. Then maybe do black accents. Blackbird stripes and black "Trans Am" door emblems and rear PONTIAC fill in. You'll be good to go there. If you wanna stay on a streak, do the CETA and you'll be

I think black is the best color for a TA, but if I were you I would slap the blue decals like the anniversary edition has. That white and blue look sweet especially with some chrome and blue rims.

That would look good. I would go with black wheels also. No offense to anyone, but when I see a black TA with red accents I just cringe. Especially when they have red vents on the hood and fenders. That looks horrible.

Try a pearl-white or something different.
If you do black, what are ya going to do with the inner-fenders under the hood?!?
Keep it white or some other color close, so ya don't have to paint the inner-fenders.

Keep it white, black is a royal PITA to keep clean, it looks good for 30 seconds then it's dirty again, swirls and scratches are like giant neon signs saying LOOK A DEFECT IN THE PAINT
Unless you're ocd about keeping your car clean leave it white and go with black accents
