Default JOSH aka Firehawk: make THESE!

I saw another thread on this and thought you could do something about production...They are full engine/engine bay covers to get that show/concept car look.
If you make them, they will come.
Aluminum, stainless, fiberglass, carbon fiber, I don't really think it matters.

I'm going to have to say that it definitely will. It looks great for a show car....but reality always has a way of ruining things.

It's the same thing with the Holden people putting split fuel rail covers rather than the single piece cover....it's because it really helps lower under-the-hood temps.

That being said...it does look awesome!!!

Sorry, I hosted them through imageshack and if you click on them it will take you to their site. I had them sized to fit a 17in screen so you may be able to save them to yoru computer and reopen them as a larger pic.
As for the heat, I don't care. Run some fans, cut some holes, anything. That is sexy as hell!

I would like something over the radiator support and fenders, but that's it. Looks great.

looks pretty cheesy to me. I don't like add-on crap that just sits on top of things.

There're two problems with this:

1. It's completely generic looking. It doesn't even look like a real engine anymore with all that crap covering it.

2. Half of what makes an engine bay that's been all blinged out exciting is the idea of all the hard work that went into making it that way. Hard work done by a human being , not some machine in a factory stamping out cookie cutter cloned parts in mass quantities. I've got a chrome faucet on my kitchen sink but I don't get all tingly and goose-bumpy everytime I look at it simply because it's shiny. Same concept applies here.

Wow that is really shiny. I bet that has some serious heat-soak issues.
