Default ? about hi heat paint and clear coating

Wanted to dress up my valve covers a little. Firehawks are off the planet nice but I really dont think the cover itself is good looking. I'd have him polish mine otherwise. I also cant see spending $350 or $200 on a new set of valve covers either or the cost of powder coating has to be 200+. I was gonna do a paint scheme myself instead and polish the middle. I have a black car so there is plenty of black hi heat paint out there but none of it is gloss. What about the clear coat? If I clear coat it it will give me the glossy look but will it bubble? Do they make hi heat clear coat?

I don't think it will come out like the black you want. I have found some Hi-Temp clear but when I tested it (before I put it on my calipers over my SOM) it clouded up and looked shitty. I have asked a few others about the same clear and no one else seemed to have it get cloudy, so maybe just a bad can of spray???
