Default Is 100% cotton ok?...

I just want to know if using a 100% cotton t-shirt or cloth is safe for applying wax? I use a microfiber for drying but not for any type of waxing. Just wanting get as much information to prevent any type of swirling or scratching.

Thanks in advance.

Don't bother my dad had the same thought of using a cotton towel to dry my car after washing it while I was away. Supposed to be kind of a gift or something. All it did was bless my black paint with tiny etches.

man sure you get the good MF towels, the cheapies leave scratches and swirls. also if you get cotton get 100% american cotton, no egyptian or whatever.

for applying the wax, use a good foam applicator pad, or a good microfiber applicator ..

as for microfiber towels .. there are several good ones available .. pak shak and Meguiar's Supreme Shine are the two brands of microfiber towles I use ..
