update on my concept racing seats!!!
http://madracingconcepts.com/Seats/i...lack_large.jpg
I was debating whether or not I should lie to ls1tech and say they are of terrible quality because the truth is...they are bad *** seats...and I want to be the only camaro with them then again, I am sure it is one of a kind for the time being. I took the courage to order the fiberglass all black seats in replace of the GM camel seats. I am happy I took the risk. I really hope no one else buys these because they are too cool!
There were some imperfections in the seats, like the back trim piece, somehow, it is not straight, but I'm pretty positive its glued on, so its a matter of taking it off and sticking hot glue on there.
Comfort wise: These seats really conform to your body...they literally hug you...you feel like the car is a circle track car or something...I am very surprised by how comfortable they are for a racing seat.
They are very very light weight, and they have three different textures to them which gives them a one of a kind design. The accents on the sides are sort of 3D like carbon fiber-like...the inserts are like the orhopedic beds on tv...foam/cloth like...and the sides are like mesh-like as seen in some new volvos, very cool. Finally, the back of the seats are a semi-glossy plexi glass. They were kinda scracthy, but I expected that...I can probably get most of the scuffs here and there off and scracthes...but overall, I am very impressed. Oh, and there are no logos on the seats at all for a nice clean look. I just hope they fit in there nice and snug now. For the price, they can not be beat.
In sum, these seats look like they belong in a concept car! sorry no pics, but I should have some up installed very very shortly!

I'm glad someone tried these seats out. They look very lightweight.
What I'm wondering is how the seatbelt will work with these seats.
Keep us updated on/after the install ... with pics!

I am going to have to use the seatbelt as is. I will probably never put a roll bar in...my car is mostly all show...its fast enough right now, and I'm sure the g/f would not appreciate 5-points, LOL.

Haha, hey you gotta pay to play. I like the big baller items. Who knows, a Porsche is probably in the horizen for me.
The green bike is a 8" stretched GSXR 1000 with a turbo, single sided swingarm w/ a 280 rear tire.
Paint and the turbo have been added since those pics. Got some pretty sick airbrushed skulls in the lowers, etc.
