Bottom of front fenders flaring out?

No matter how mutch glue, reinforcing mesh, ahesion promoter ect. they will only be half as strong as before they were broken the first time. Your better off running a couple of sheet metal screws into the rocker panel.
Dont be lazy, unbolt the fender, bend the metal tab back then heat the fender and bend it back. After it has cooled you can bolt it back and adjust from there.

the fender doesnt take that much damn stress so that glue and all wouldnt be a decent fix. the only thing really fucknig them up are speed bumps, so I dont see why glueing it on with a little mesh would be so half-assed for an area no one will ever see

noooo noo nooo thats now what i was talking about doing it. the emtal tabs, those yea can be bent. the PLASTIC tabs on the fenders if those BREAK off can be glued, not the emtal parts. the one on my trans am broke off the fender and sicne we have the fender off were just gonig to glue it and put mesh on it.

I aggree 100% with Jeremiah.
Take the bolts out before bending them back.
Mine started to crack, unbolted them, bent the metal back, then used a heat gun to warm the fender tabs & bolted them back in place.
Friends car, I witnessed the use of the 2x4 method & broke both sides.
(And no, ..., he didn't try to 'glue' them back together, ...)

Your right, they can be glued but like you said it requires removing the fender to do it correclty. Also, simply bolting it back to the car puts stress on your repair, that stress along with vibration, heating/cooling cycles ect. will cause most repairs to fail over time.
There is no quality repair that is as strong as before the tab was broken, that is why I called it a patch.
