I can never remember if the top of the switck was locked, or unlocked. So I would hit the button, and all I would hear is the mechanism, but still didn't know if it was locked or not.
But not any more.
I have no idea what size the LEDs are.
I get them from an automotive accent light website, so I don't ask alot of questions. I order them up, and they're shipped with the proper resistor, no pain.

hey man i did my shifter....Its all LED and i did the door bezel where you red one is but i want some more light so im going to do your mod...I used to have the LEDs in my AC panel too but it blew out so i didnt want to mess with it..

the illumination...replaced the stock yellow look with blue....i will go and take a pic and post

I used the ignition on/doorlock mod so I knew when my doors were locked but pretty lights are cool too!

yeah thats only one led in there....i just ran a wire and spliced into the existing and modded the locking plastic peice that holds the lights into our panels for it to hold..

#74 for door lights for sure.. 2002 f-body map lights are 194s, I think.
