Default Headrest Seatbelt Restraints

I'm trying to figure out how to get these on. For whatever reason, my car didn't have them when I bought them. I first bought a set from the junkyard, and cut slits in them to get them on without messing around with the seatbelt. I decided to pick up another pair, because the seatbelt kept falling out the slit.

I went to the junkyard, unbolted the bottom part of the seatbelt, and then had to break the buckle and rip out the threads holding the seatbelt to the plastic part which bolts to the car in order to get the headrest portion off.

Does anybody know how to put these on without destroying my seatbelt or cutting a slit in them?

try unbolting the seatbelt at the top, i think that might work better, or you could cut a slit between the screws, that way when you put the holder back on the screws will close up the slit, just an idea.

I'm not sure how to unbolt the top of the seatbelt, I'm assuming you have to remove the headliner (which I'd rather not do). Anyone have any directions or know if this will make it easy to get the restraint on?

easier to just unbolt the torx screw on the bottom. Takes all of 5 minutes.

Exactly. Move your seat all the way forward. It has a plastic cover on it that looks like a huge Phillips head screw. Twist it out and you will see the torx bit that bolts the seatbelt to the floor. Takes 5 min and is much easier than the other options already mentioned.
