From looking at your closeups it appears they are yellowing and spiderweb'ing. It may be on the inside as that does happen but most likely I still think it is on the outside. Your top picture is exactly how the used set I bought looked.

Agreed, your's look like they just need to be wet-sanded & then polished with a plastic polish. Even if some haze is on the inside, you won't know for certain whether you need to drill holes until you polish the outside.
Not too hard, just time consuming. You'll spend about 30 minutes on each side. Start with 800 grit wet/dry paper, moving up incrementally with other fine grits until you get to 2000 grit, then use a plastic polish.
