Nope, that wont work. Thats for the manual (stick). For auto you need an adapter that was made by MBA....at least thats what I know....

GotV8 how much does that speaker box weigh? I'm thinking of doing something like that instead of the current stealth box I have. Here is my interior. Hopefully by spring it'll be totally tricked out. Suede seats w/ leather houndstoothe inserts. All the plastic panels will be covered in sued ie. headliner etc, minus the dash and center console. Door panels will be a mix of suede and hounstoothe.

check that out. I saw the same one on ebay but i wanted the other vent ring. This one is made by different people but has a lot more peices. If you go and just search for our cars they have different options like a molded kit but its has fewer peices. I deffinately plan on getting this in carbon fiber but i also love it in aluminum!

Well i'm not sure, I have two tens. If you wanted to go light do one 12. The box is made of ply wood. So the speakers weigh more than the box.

For the seats, most of the wrinkles in the leather have flattened out.
For the painted pieces, its difficult to get pics in the right light, but they are sanded smooth and color matched NBM to the outside.

Heaters for the seats. Passenger and Driver.

wow i really like those NBM painted peices... i work at a car dealership and see lots of painted interiors come through the shop, and have yet to see one properly done, the paint can easily scratch, and just looks horrible... so im debating to either try that...

It's all in the preparation.......but I wouldn't recommend painting anything that will involve contact or movement such as the console top.

That is why I restricted my mods to those pieces that would be least exposed to damage. Hell, I put Zaino on them. They've held up (2-1/2 years), and only (1) small crack in the A-pillar, which I believe was done by a tech servicing my car.
Almost looks like somebody reached up to get out of the car and banged they ring finger into it. SUX! Not sure the vents would look good in Pewter, but for NBM, ME LIKES ALOT!

Of course, I left it to a professional, master auto body painter, but I basically know the process.

thanks, it's been about 2.5 years and I still love it just the same.

And yea, it can be a pain. There's some other cleaning techniques I want to try, just haven't really dedicated the time yet. It helps that I don't have to DD that car anymore.

I have the a custom box made by MTX, it sounds amazing. You can only fit a 10 inch in there so I got one that can handle 500RMS. If you're debatin doint it, go for it. You can' tell that it's off to the side. Plus you still have room for t-tops if you have them.

That looks awseome GoFast908Z. So did you paint it yourself, and how easy does it scratch.

I did all the prep, and my buddy at a body shop sprayed it and cleared it. It has 3 coats of paint 2 coats of clear, so its fairly resistant to scratches, but you still have to be careful, especially when putting the seatbelts on.

I should know not to post works in progress, as many people choose to judge before its done, but heres mine, will be done after x-mas is over.
What I started with

During

Current, minus a few small touches

Now heres my question to you guys. I will be ordering carpet shortly after x-mas, pitch black, and having my headliner re-done, again, in black. I will be getting seatbelts out of a ebony t/a soon here, and the Apillers and t-top panals will be painted black. I'll pick up a six speed console out of a ebony 97+ car, and then the only thing left is the dash. Heres two options

Paint the dash/dashmat
Pros-
Would complete the transformation
Cons-
Might be hard to get even coverage on such a large peice.
Might be too shiny, causing a glare off the windsheild
Might crack
Seats wont match anything

Leave the dash/dashmat charcoal
Pros-
No chance of the dash not looking original, fading, cracking, scratching
Will tie in with my seats ( charcoal cloth )
Cons-
Aprubt change from ebony apiller's.
Wont be a complete change.

I've even thought about charcoal floor mats to tie in the seats.

Opinions welcomed, but keep it kosher
